US-Israel Relations: Origins and Future
I recently gave a lecture in Jerusalem on US-Israel Relations: Where are we, how did we get here and where are we headed? I discuss the origins of American support for Israel, the tumultuous and "cold" first decades of US-Israel relations and how we got to the current level of strategic cooperation. I describe what the relationship looks like today across a multitude of areas. I finally discuss where the relationship might be headed, given demographic, social and political trends in both countries.
