Squaring a Circle: How the International Media Unwittingly Perpetuates Palestinian Violence

In my latest piece, I explain how the international media is unwittingly culpable in perpetuating Palestinian violence. This is, as it reports the news in a manner that gives equal credence to Palestinian propaganda and manipulation of the media does not take the Palestinian leadership to task for these actions. In this manner, foreign governments and public opinions are negatively shaped against Israel, which forces these governments to pressure Israel and prevents Israel from properly dealing with the situation. Were the international press to report the news in a more accurate and careful manner, it would remove some of the incentive for the Palestinians to resort to violence and return to the negotiating table.
